Hey guys! I know I’m not the only one that is ready for summer. I am counting down the days now! In the meanwhile, I’m going to talk about a fun trip I took to Bainbridge Indiana last summer. Maybe talking about old summer memories and fashion will make this summer come sooner! We will see, haha.
In August of 2020, I went to visit my long-distance friend, Sierra. She lives in Bainbridge Indiana which is about a two-hour drive from my hometown, Jeffersonville. This was my first time going to visit Sierra and my first time going to Bainbridge.

Although it was August, it actually ended up getting a bit chilly in Bainbridge. I packed summer clothes so I had to borrow one of Sierra’s jackets, I really wasn’t expecting cold temperatures, haha. The first day there ended up being the chilly day, thankfully I at least had a pair of jeans to wear. I was in my distressed, embroidered jeans with my black floral bodysuit. This look was great for the end of Summer. I love wearing short sleeves and florals a few more times before cold weather comes in. I started getting into bodysuits recently, I love the trend. I love how easily they can be paired up with a skirt or a pair of pants.

Thankfully, we had warmer weather on our second day there. This was our last day visiting because it was just a weekend trip. We spent our last day taking pictures together before it was time to head back home. On this day I wore my pink striped crop top with my mustard yellow corduroy skirt. I was unsure about how these two pieces would look together at first but I loved the look as soon as I tried it on. The colors of this outfit are perfect for transitioning into fall.
Although it was a short trip, I had an amazing time and I was thankful to see Sierra. I Can’t wait to go back again make more memories there. The biggest thing that stood out to me about Bainbridge is how tight-knit the town is. Everyone seemed to know each other. We went to a backyard concert with Sierra and her parents, all the neighbors nearby were there talking to each other like friends. I have never seen anything like that in my hometown. It was very cool to see how different things can be in such a small town. Thanks for reading! See you next time!
Love, Abby
