A Week Of Olive

Hey guys! I’m excited to say that this is my first blog project! I put together a different outfit to go with my olive green Lularoe leggings every day for a week to show how versatile they are.

Here is day one; my Sunday outfit. With this look, I was going for something that you can wear to church. This outfit could also work for a fun event like a concert or a party. The floral dress is good for adding color to the outfit and it matches well with the leggings. I added some heeled black booties and a cardigan to pull the look together. The sweater and boots are an excellent option in colder weather. If you wanted to wear this outfit in warmer weather, I would go with either a pair of flats or a short-sleeved cardigan. If you wanted to, you could get rid of the cardigan altogether.

Up next, we have day two; my Monday outfit. I see this as a more elegant look that would be an appropriate outfit for work. The white lace shirt is what gives this outfit a more graceful vibe and it pairs great with the green leggings. I chose cheetah print flats since they pair nicely with the olive green color on the leggings. The flats also add to the refined vibe of this look. Another big plus to cheetah print is that it adds a bit of fun to the outfit. I always like to have some fun with all of my looks!

This is day Three; the Tuesday outfit. I think that this look would work for a weekend out, a day with friends, or any laid back kind of day. Overall, this is a pretty simple look but works great with the leggings. The black combat boots and jean jacket add a smidge of edginess to the outfit. If you don’t want an edgy touch with this outfit you could swap out the combat boots with a pair of flats or something that you prefer. Anything works if you love how it looks!

Here I have day four; Wednesday. My goal with this outfit was to make a simple, everyday look. This look could work for being at home, going to work, going out, or any laid back event. I chose a simple cream-colored sweater to match with the olive leggings and a pair of tall brown boots. I went with all neutral colors to accompany the leggings.

Now for day five; Thursday. I wanted to put together a cozy look for this day. I think this look would be ideal for fall and winter. I went with a simple gray shirt to go with the leggings. I added a pair of light brown boots and a big, cozy, light brown sweater. I think all of the neutral colors pull the outfit together very well. If you can’t tell, I love neutral colors!

Continuing with the week, we have Friday up next. With this look, I wanted an outfit with some layers. I chose a rust-colored corduroy skirt because I think the rust color goes very well with the olive green on the leggings. The color of the print on the white shirt matches well with the skirt. The print on the shirt also adds a bigger pop of color into the outfit. I also loved the look of the gray heeled boots with this outfit. A gray jacket or cardigan could also be added to this look for colder weather.

Last but not least here is day seven, the Saturday outfit. I wanted this one to be an edgy but casual style. The ripped jeans and band tee gives this look a more casual, but stylish vibe. The flannel shirt is a good addition for colder weather. The tall black boots add an edgy vibe to the outfit as well. I incorporated the olive leggings into this outfit by putting them under the ripped jeans. You can see glimpses of the leggings under the holes in the jeans.

That finishes my week of pairing up with olive green leggings. I had so much fun creating these outfits with different styles and vibes. I’m excited that I could share just how versatile a pair of olive green leggings can be. Maybe you will be inspired to go find a pair of your own! Thanks to everyone for reading! Stay tuned for the next post!

Love, Abby
